Filets de mémoire is a sculptural installation exploring the relationship between memory, domestic space, and water. Inspired by the recurring floods in Northern France, the project reflects on how natural events transform familiar interiors, leaving behind traces of change and reshaping everyday objects.
Everyday furniture is wrapped in fishing nets, capturing a suspended moment between disappearance and preservation. The nets become a symbolic gesture of trying to hold onto fragments of daily life before they are carried away. Through this transformation, the installation explores how objects can become silent witnesses to loss, resilience, and the fragile relationship between humans and their environment.
